The peer group in primary school age as a factor of socialization

Summary/Abstract: Groups or social contexts in which significant processes of socialization take place can be called "socializing factors". In all cultures the family is the main socializing factor for the child in his early childhood. In the later stages of the individual's life, many other socializing factors interact but even in the primary (early) socialization after the family, the main socializing factor is the peer group. In this publication, attention is focused on its features. The motives for choosing partnership and friendship are considered.
