Summary/Abstract: The specialized literature on the methodology of teaching fine arts still lacks an effective, sufficiently valid and reliable system of methods for stimulating and developing children with outstanding visual and creative abilities and for evaluating their visual outcomes and artistic knowledge. The main problem addressed in this article is the development of fine arts of gifted children, in which education and upbringing in kindergarten, and later in primary school, play a particularly important role. This sensitive period is especially significant for the artistic, aesthetic, emotional and intellectual development of the child's personality, for the stimulation of creativity, for the development of a number of positive personality traits.
