Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, international security organizations occupy an important place in the world security hierarchy, with most of their Member States having as a starting point in the development of national security policies precisely the security strategies and principles promoted by these international entities. A recent global threat, implicitly at the level of South-Eastern Europe, is the high probability of an economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. International security organizations such as the UN, NATO, the EU and the OSCE have the common goal of maintaining world peace and security through a series of laws, mechanisms, agencies, etc., based on the promotion of civil rights and freedoms.
