Summary/Abstract: The paper publishes fragments from an unsaved text by Vojislav Ilić dedicated to children’s literature. Ilić’s text was published in two sequels in Dnevni list on July 25 and 26, 1892, and is preserved only in fragments, in a transcript by Milan Šević. Ilić’s view on children’s literature largely corresponds to today’s times. Also, this text by Ilić brings one of the first negative evaluations of Zmaj’s poetry.
