School Reform – Unevitable Connection of Home Experiences and Foreign Knowledge

Summary/Abstract: The article deals with facts and coherences of importance of education in the life of society. Special importance is placed on the reform of school system in conditions of the Slovak Republic with emphasizing the reality because it is impossible to have only foreign examples but we have to start from experiences and knowledge of the home school system too. The author points to accesses and experiences of the school system in Finland but within referring to possibilities and problems of implementation of foreign experiences into home conditions in Slovakia.
