Summary/Abstract: School as an educational institution is influenced by everything that is characteristic of modern societies. Education results in one's preparation to live in the world that is changing. Its significant role, preparing the student to live in the world and with the people, is not however, written in goals of school teaching. Although it does influence the results of school education. It is happening through actions taken in order to develop key competences. The idea of common good as a space of students and teachers activities may be the way to complement these actions.
