Summary/Abstract: Global political, economic and cultural changes in the modern world, on the one hand, are accompanied by the rapprochement of peoples and cultures, on the other hand, these changes in some cases lead to the alienation of cultures, alienation, conflicts between nations. The contradictions of globalization are most pronounced in the socio-cultural spheres (science, education, culture, ethics, religion). For this reason, there is a special need for multifaceted dialogue and cooperation in the socio-cultural sphere to overcome the dangerous tendencies of globalization. The problems and dangers facing mankind today can be eliminated only through the joint efforts of all peoples and states. Therefore, in order to ensure the coexistence of world cultures, it is necessary to organize their dialogue and respect the features of other cultures. The article emphasizes the importance of this. One of the main priorities of Azerbaijan's foreign policy, which makes this need a reality, is the development of international cultural and humanitarian cooperation and the achievement of mutual understanding between the peoples. Today, Azerbaijan actively participates in international relations, international cultural dialogue, hosts a number of global projects. The article provides detailed information about these projects, the importance of the work done and the measures taken.
