Summary/Abstract: The aim of the research is to examine the master's and doctoral theses in the field of private security since 2004, when the law numbered 5188 was enacted, according to various categories and to make a situation assessment. Theses for this purpose; the year it was published was evaluated in terms of the research method, the type of the thesis, the university where it was made and the institute it was made. Document review was made as a descriptive literature review and data collection method. In the research, 61 graduate theses registered in YÖK National Thesis Center and given open access permission were examined. As a result of the analysis made; the most publications were at the graduate level and the most in 2019. It has been observed that more theses are done in public universities and more in social sciences institutes. In addition, it was concluded that the analyzed theses were quantitatively researched and the SPSS program was used in data analysis.
