Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study was to undertake the theoretical review of the ecological terminology formation in the Ukrainian language lexical system. To achieve the stated aim the methods of concept analysis, content analysis and discourse reflection were used. For revealing the peculiarities of the formation of environmental terms the materials of web-based resources and official documents available on the Internet were analyzed.
