Summary/Abstract: In his famous universal history encyclopedia, “Library of History”, Diodorus of Sicily offers us a few information about the first Macedonian expedition of 339 BC lead by King Fillip II-nd, about the expedition of 335 BC lead by Alexander the Great or about the expedition to the North of the Danube lead by Zopyrion, which expedition was a real disaster for the Macedonian army. Fortunately, more information is rendered in the Books 19 to 21, in which Diodorus of Sicily records an important historiographical testimony regarding the wars fought against the army of Lysimah by the Geto- Dacians lead in defence by Dromichaites.
