Summary/Abstract: The present study aims to conduct a review of the recent specialty literature by which to provide some guidance and methods of working with young children during the pandemic. Few things are known about this period and its impact on us. Therefore, the methods by which to deal with the stress caused by the present context are not sufficiently known. Thus, considering the continuous development and sometimes in leaps of the young child, regardless of the context we go through, the society and the family have the obligation to ensure a stimulating environment favorable to the development. What challenges does this bring to the family context? What does a family with young children need to do to efficiently manage this time and answer adaptively to the needs of the children in its composition? There are some questions we are trying to answer in this study. The last part of the study brings some information about the importance of sleep in terms of child development. Sleep is considered a basic factor of development, on the background of which a good functioning of the brain can be ensured, therefore of the psyche which is in an accelerated expansion at the age of childhood.
