Summary/Abstract: Victor Verbych, a writer and a journalist, continues a series of essays dealing with the Nobel prize winners and their works of literature from the perspective of Ukrainian veaders' perception. This time his publication is about John Maxwell Kutzee - the South-African Nobel prize winner. The author of the essay offers his considerations on Russian translations of the Kutzee's novels and draws the readers' attention to the fact that Kutzee studied the literary heritage of Bruno Shultz - the writer who lived in Ukraine.
