Summary/Abstract: This article discusses a topic of great salience: the Eurozone crisis and its consequences on the future of the European project. The paper argues in favor of a divide triggered by the crisis between the center and the periphery of the EU. This gap impacts both on the economic and financial prospects of the Union as well as on the emergence of a European public sphere.
