Summary/Abstract: The mental health is the ability to experience, regulate and express emotions; form healthy relationships; and explore the environment and learn. The early experiences are forming the developing brain. Mental health problems can and do occur in young children, diagnosis can be even more difficult than in adults. The emotional and behavioral needs of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers are best met through cooperatin of services that focus on the whole family and relationships.
