Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses its attention on pointing out the social changes that currently affect family changes. Against the background of the changes, the author pays attention to the characteristics of gender stereotypes as one of the factors influencing the fulfillment of parental roles. At the same time, she emphasizes the importance of mother and father in fulfilling their parental mission. In the end, she outlines some characteristics of a modern type of a father, while emphasizing the necessity of father and mother in raising a child and emphasizing their specifics.
