Summary/Abstract: The COVID19 pandemic has pushed to the surface many underlying issues in contemporary advanced Western societies, one amongst these being the emergence of public mistrust in authority and the facts, specific to the so-called post-truth era. This I believe to be an extremely important challenge for women’s expertise in social sciences in general and in International Relations particularly and, I suggest, grounds for a renewal of the epistemic agenda and for the role played by women experts in society.
