The estimation of the merger of Bank Rozwoju Eksportu S.A. and Polski Bank Rozwoju S.A. based on the Global and Domain Synergy Effect

Summary/Abstract: The rapid changes of the economic environment and growing competition in bank-ing sector result in raising integration processes among banks such as mergers, acquisi-tions or strategic alliances. Their effects are not always satisfactory. The purpose of this paper is to measure, analyse and estimate the effect of the merger of Bank Rozwoju Eksportu S.A. and Polski Bank Rozwoju S.A. based on the Global and Domain Synergy Effect. Conducted research led to believe that mentioned merger was successful and its’ goals were achieved. The positive synergy effect was stated in almost all investigated areas.
