Summary/Abstract: IN THIS PAPER WE FIRST PRESENT THE INVARIANCE OF THE CAUSAL RELATIONSHIP IN A MINKOWSKI SPACE AND STATE A NECESSARY AND SUFFICIENT CONDITION FOR TWO EVENTS TO BE SIMULTANEOUS FOR AN OBSERVER. IN THE SECOND PART OF THE PAPER WE REFER TO THE RELATIVITY OF LONGITUDINAL CONTRACTION. WE WILL CALCULATE THE CONTRACTION FACTOR FOR THE SPATIAL SIZE OF A BODY THAT MOVES RELATIVE TO AN INERTIAL REFERENCE SYSTEM WITH A CERTAIN VELOCITY, IN THE DIRECTION OF THE VELOCITY VECTOR. FINALLY, WE PRESENT A SIGNIFICANT EXAMPLE (EINSTEIN'S WAGON CONTRACTION) FOR THE RELATIVITY OF LONGITUDINAL CONTRACTION.
