Summary/Abstract: Following the logic of Alain Supiot’s recent book, Governance by Numbers: The Making of a Legal Model of Allegiance, (Oxford: Hart Publishing, 2017), the transition from a society built around institutions producing norms derived from human values towards an algorithmic society. In such a society, government becomes governance, rules become regulations, and the individual becomes a number.
