On the Strategic Dimension of the Bohmian Dialogue

Summary/Abstract: The paper focuses on the concept of dialogue from the perspective of David Bohm’s thought, with the aim to underline its relevance for the practice of dialogue. The paper proposes a reading of the bohmian dialogue in the light of the discussions around the strategic dialogue, defined as a tool effective in overcoming difficult situations, in different contexts. The analysis tries to outline a picture of the relation between the bohmian dialogue and the strategic dialogue emphasizing that there are three main aspects of the bohmian dialogue that are relevant in this respect, namely its epistemological dimension, the creative one and the ethical innervation of dialogue.
