Summary/Abstract: The following article offers an integrative concept of socially responsible hospitality essence and application which is then approbated in Bulgarian practice. Taking into account the shortcomings of previous theoretical and methodological approaches, the main problems it seeks to solve are the widespread dissemination of a universal perspective on the economic and pragmatic dimensions of socially responsible hospitality and how the conventional considerations of profit and economic growth lead to a loss of relation with the practical aspects of the phenomenon. The integrative concept has been used by the author in conducting an empirical study of socially responsible hos¬pitality in Bulgarian, the results of which reveal how best to expand its scope and impact through adapted guidelines for a future sustainable adop¬tion.
