Summary/Abstract: The well-known sports specialist and sports history researcher conducted a life interview with Pál Németh, the coach of the successful women's handball team of Topoľníky (Hungarian: Nyárasd), which presents the coach's life path and professional career. In the sixties of the last century, something special started in Topoľníky that was noticed by the world of women's handball in then-Czechoslovakia and later in Europe too. The women’s handball team of Topoľníky played 1,814 matches between 1969 and 1999, scoring 38,372 goals, delighting approximately two million people, and meeting 124 teams from Europe on the court.
