Summary/Abstract: In this article I tried to deal with the theme of naming God, making references to two main authors: Professor Elizabeth Johnson and Father Professor Emmanuel Clapsis. I would like very much to underline that, although it is important to use in our theological texts both female and male metaphors when we speak about God, the issue of God language (or the so called inclusive language) must not be confused or used as a foundation for the women ordination, which represent a totally different problem.
