Security and Legal Principles of Alternative Voting Methods

Summary/Abstract: This paper examines the issue of alternative voting methods – internet voting, telephone voting, postal voting and mail vote. The purpose is to provide the analysis of security and legal principles of election, which has to be fulfilled to the same extent as in case of traditional voting methods. The ensurance of these principles is necessary for democratic state functioning. Generally, the accent is put on voting procedures which are user-friendly and trustworthy at the same time.
