Summary/Abstract: This work is dedicated to the process of proletarianization of Romania. The topic is onefocused on society and its evolution, especially, during the regime of Gheorghe Gheorgiu Dej, alsoknown as the Stalinist period (1948-1949). From the very beginning, this paper focuses on the spread ofthis current, which originated in the USSR until it was borrowed by Romania under the sovietinfluences. I have also tried to bring into focus the influences of proletcultism in Romanian culture, inliterature, in cinematography and also în the so called „ daily life”. I have also tried to interpret andshow some of the numismatic, notaphilic and heraldic motifs, related to labour and social space. Mostof this interpretation is personal, because the material about communism symbolism in the space ofauxiliary sciences is absent. There are also social-economic aspects such as a worker's duties and hisprofessional life, things about the colectivisation of the land and the organization of cooperatives, allthose being chained to a unique manifestation of the regime in rise and fame.
