Summary/Abstract: It has been a few years since I have been waiting for an opportunity to write about GrigoreCreţu and here it was in 2019, on the 100th anniversary of the death of the great and unknownscholar. My interest was activated by a significant biographical detail: the place of birth (in 1848) isthe city of Târgu-Neamţ.
