Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to propose a model of the methodological framework, which we use in practice folk songs in education and music therapy, in current conditions of music school and music therapy. A different range of music education (teaching-knowledge) and music therapy (therapy – change), we want to highlight how this tool can support or refute the hypothesis: hypothesis 1. Folk songs are suitable tools for education and music therapy. 2. Folk songs serve as a means of consolidating basic dynamic music factors. 3. Folk songs can be a promotion in music therapy work, as an identification element in the self – development and identity. In this way, we want to support the theoretical basis of the topic and its impact.
