Summary/Abstract: The birth of the Lord, that is the incarnation of God, considered by many of the Fathers of the Church to be the most important moment in the history of salvation, and thus, the first great celebration of Christendom, without which salvation would not have been possible, overwhelms through the depth and theological profoundness in which it coats itself. The hymnographic compositions made in honor of this feast were, without a doubt, many more, but those who have managed to capture at the same time the majesty and the mystery of the feast have imposed themselves. Even more, we believe that the beauty of the feast of the Nativity is "due" in large part to this unspoilt spring of meaning and theology, which is the hymnography. So only if we know the hymnography of this feast we will be able to understand the meaning, message, brilliance and importance of the incarnation of God.
