Summary/Abstract: This study analyzes and presents the relationship between the Kingdom of Godand the Church. We show that the Kingdom of God is not just a reality that will berevealed at the end of the ages, according to the Gospel, but at the same time it is apresent reality here and now, in the world. The most prominent form of the Kingdomof God’s presence in the world is the Church of Jesus Christ. In and through theChurch, the Kingdom of God is communicated to people who wish to becomepartakers of this Kingdom. While keeping a future dimension that looks forward toits complete comsummation, the Kingdom of God is actually present in the Churchand as the Church. Thus, through the Church, people partake of the ultimate realityof salvation and of the Trinitarian life of love and communion
