Summary/Abstract: With the end of the Second World War and the establishment of the socialist authorities, the holder of most cultural activities in Zavidovici became the Workers Cultural and Artistic Association ''Rad", which would retain that role until 1956, when the Dom kulture was built. The construction of this facility has created the preconditions for further development of cultural activities. The paper follows the development of cultural life in Zavidovici during socialist Yugoslavia, bringing its main features, prominent collectives, organizations and individuals.
