Summary/Abstract: This article wants to address the question of relations between comparative literature (and cultural) studies and national literature (and cultural) studies whose function is (among others) constantly to restore the literary canon(s) formation. (According to the results of a short revision of one from the plentitude of European national literary canons, the cultural studies’ view seems to be reasonably included in this question.)
