Summary/Abstract: Informational warfare has been launch in a context of influencing public opinion and decision makers via public pressure in targeted issue debated at a level of a democratic society. Social media and infinite access to information has changed the perspectives and instruments. But we are far from the Cold War instruments of propaganda, desinformatsia, active measures. Today, the direct access to all connected citizens offers new instruments for altering their will and options. Here are three generations of informational warfare and where the instruments in the field are developed and could be used in a war against our societies, where the basic democratic principles and values are considered to be vulnerabilities to be used and taking advantage of for opportunities in this silent and more and more effective instrument.
