Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses a book by Krzysztof Mrozowski on the subject of to thespace of Old Warsaw in the 16th century. This review presents the most importand advantages of the book, crucial from the point of view of researchers of the Early Modern historyof Warsaw and, more generally, possibilities of extending or changing the research questionnaire for works with a sociotopraphic feature, are presented. A few detailed commentswere also included, which – in the author’s opinion – would enrich the book, although inno way diminish the positive tone of the review
