Summary/Abstract: In November 1918, at the time when the structures of the Polish military administration were forming, the organization of military education was a very importantproblem. As in the case of civil education, the process of unification in military educationwas carried out, aimed at developing a Polish model, using the best solutions from theeducation of the partitioning powers. Under the pressure of events, ad hoc solutions weresometimes taken, which were later modified, as in the case of the discussed Cadet Schoolin Łobzów near Krakow. The Cadet School in Łobzów worked under this name only fora year, and later was converted into a cadet corps. This Cadet School played an importantrole in shaping the personality of the Polish soldier and Polish officer. The organizationof the school influenced the organization of secondary military education in Poland. Thearticle presents the discussion of organizational and program changes as well as the characteristic of the teaching and educational staff.
