The Educational Policy toward the Bulgarian Muslims 1919–1925

Summary/Abstract: The implementation of the Bulgarian state educational policy toward the minorities has its different aspects: political, economical, social, practical. The statute and existence of minority educational institutions are closely inter-woven with the existence, recognition and the granting of certain minority rights in the educational legislation of the state. The object of the study is to reveal, compare and analyze the development of the state policy toward the educational institutions and the education of the Muslims in Bulgaria on the part of the Agrarian Party – in coalition and independently (1919–1923) with that of the Democratic accord (Democraticheski sgovor) (1923–1925).
