Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the current and prospective situation of Denmark in the Arctic. The author presents Greenland – the Danish autonomous territory being the subject of Copenahagen claims in the Far North. Then he discusses the historical roots and contemporary relationships between Denmark and Greenland and presents Danish doctrinal documents relating to the Arctic and the results of taken actions.
