Summary/Abstract: In this paper I would like to present an outlook on Spiru Haret’s personality. It is one of the most important and remarkable man. I want to approach the much debated question of he’s contribution to the development of education. This process weakens the structure society. He has refused to adapt educational systems of other countries to the situation of Romania.His contribution to primary, secondary, vocational, commercial and private education, schools of fine arts, music, declamation and drama it was an innovation in the strategy of managing everyday life aspects during that period. A nation that is aware of its value, keeps to identity, cultivates human talents and skills, thus having a big chance to survive.
