«Albina» lui Haret
Haret’s “Albina”

Summary/Abstract: Enrolled among the world personalities in the 2012 UNESCO calendar of commemorations at a century from his death, Spiru Haret, through his immortal figure and work, entered the consciousness of the Romanian people long ago. The article refers to one of the many areas in which he performed work, namely his concern for the people’s general knowledge which led to the foundation of the „ALBINA” (BEE) magazine. It presents the circumstances in which they set up this popular encyclopedic magazine, giving a description of the magazine carrying appearance, following from its program, summarized in 21 points, the one that refers to popularization of science, of astronomy.
