Summary/Abstract: In this paper, we presented the connection between canon matrimonial law and biblical studies, dogmatic, moral theology, and pastoral activity in the Church. We pointed to marital consent, which is at the heart of the canonical rules on marriage. In short, we also introduced the defects of marital consent.
