Summary/Abstract: The current paper examines and analyzes the theoretical and methodological approaches related to accounting for the sustainable development of businesses as an innovative approach to presenting the business model of the enterprises. The goal is to present an innovative concept of integrated reporting that is closely linked to the corporate transparency and sustainability of the business model. The term ―integrated reporting‘‘ is understood as a process, resulting in an integrating report. The integrated report is a means of informing how strategy, management, results and prospects for an enterprise lead to value creation in the short, medium and long term. The integrated accountability model enables the integration of different types of accountability into a single whole, which fully discloses not only the financial and economic activity of economic subjects, but also presents data on the results of their environmental and social targeting. In the conditions of globalization and aggressive competition, there is an objective need for integrated information on the overall performance of the enterprise to meet the needs of a broad stakeholder group. The integrated reporting increases the investment attractiveness and competitiveness of the business model and has a positive impact on its capitalization. The integrated reporting permits to the businesses to demonstrate how they create value through the effective use of all types of capital (financial, manufacturing, intellectual, human, social and natural) to ensure their sustainable development. Integrated accountability provides a new model of corporate accountability, which is based on the concept of integrated thinking, which implies a relationship between several types of accountability: financial, management, environmental and social. It is characterized by a general orientation towards compression, strategic focus and outlining future prospects. The integrated report differs from other reports in that it presents interconnected data on individual types of capital and the ability of the business model to create sustainable value for financial capital providers, who are also its main target group. In recent years, various new theoretical areas in management (corporate social responsibility, sustainable development, stakeholder theory, value theory, etc.) have evolved and implemented, among them is the concept of integrated reporting, which has introduced an innovative methodology for presenting data and analyzing the evolution of the business model, influenced by factors of the business environment
