Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article was to explore the phenomenon of participation of minors in combat conditions. Moreover, an important element of the conducted research was the identification of the effects of military training of child-soldiers. The applied research method was the analysis of literature sources, statistical data and legal acts, within which the adequacy of currently applicable acts of international law in the context of counteracting the phenomenon of children's participation in armed operations was assessed.
