Summary/Abstract: This paper opens the path to the inclusion of computer mediated communication in the performance of folk culture tradition. In a world in which the permeation of internet reaches increasingly larger communities, the impact of content generation cannot be avoided as an intrinsic element of the performance of the ceremonies, rituals and cultural practices and equally in the regulatory processes that shape traditions and their outcomes. Against this background this paper tries to provide some snippets of information regarding the way in which the pervasiveness on internet connection may alter the authoritarian voices of a community transitions and questions whether the play on traditional and innovative behaviours continue to exist in connection saturated environments similar to the ways it existed in a traditional community. This paper does not question the meaning or the essence of traditional practices, but rather tries to see to what extent the connected urban society may still afford remediated traditional behaviours.
