Summary/Abstract: The lawyer is often requested to take all the necessary and possible legal actions to protect and, possibly, “recover” his client's good reputation the latter enjoys, by defending his legitimate rights, freedoms and interests. Human dignity unfairly prejudiced always calls for a redress and a “setting back on the pedestal”. The lawyer's role is essential to the defence of human dignity; by means of specific activities and working instruments, the latter promotes individual freedom, defends the constitutional and the legal rights and freedoms of persons and, by his role both with the conciliation phase and the contentious one, he represents an essential, sine qua non guarantee for the achievement of justice.
