Summary/Abstract: The conversation reveals main components of the teaching practice of Prof. Panka Pelischek (1899 – 1992), a major figure in Bulgarian pianistic culture from the previous century with an outstanding contribution to developing, building and establishing European and international recognition of the Bulgarian pianistic school for over six decades. Prof. Milena Mollova is an important figure in Bulgaria’s national pianistic musicianship, who has gained global recognition for her performances. She is also one of Prof. Panka Pelischek’s most brilliant students. She provides essential information about the main principles, approaches, aesthetic views, ideas and repertoire choices of her teacher. This article highlights a specifically successful method used by Panka Pelischek in her work with her exceptionally gifted students.
