Summary/Abstract: According to the researchers, Hadji Mihail Popfilipov from the village of Godlevo, Razlog region, is the author of the manuscript collections of Razlog speech discovered and researched so far. Having received a good education for his time, Popfilipov, besides being a famous teacher reforming the Bulgarian education in Southwestern Bulgaria,a fighter for an independent Bulgarian church, a participant in the struggle for national liberation, was also a prominent public figureand prolific writer. In addition to all this, he is a good connoisseur of church literature, church canons, a church activist and singer, a good Christian. The disclosure of his public activity explains the need for the appearance of his manuscript collections and their distribution.
