Tradition and actuality with the educative role of the Church in rural communities

Summary/Abstract: In this work we present some results of a sociological research that was realized in rural environment from Mureș County. The Research is orientated toward comparative analyses of educational rural system - with all its formal, nonformal and informal components - as well on the vertical and on horizontal of its historical evolution. At one simple preview, the rural educational space portrays itself as a space with all the material and spiritual resources overwrought. All the same, at a more detailed analyze, we discover energy, will and ordeal to relocate the rural community on the traditional scaffolding of civilization and cultural centre. An important role in this sense and a powerful spiritual influence within the community belongs to the Church - integrated part of the educational rural system - which we try to demonstrate and to set off by this work.
