Summary/Abstract: Bernhard Welte, a Catholic priest and German philosopher of religion, has a coherent and systematic conception of the faith. This study is meant to unfold the main elements and main characteristics of the conception of Welte, principally the nature of the faith, the genetic process of the faith and the difference between „daseinskonstitutiv“ and „daseinskonsekutiv“ belief.
