Summary/Abstract: Priests are susceptible to crises, too. The realization of pastoral vocation has never been faultless. Priests often manifest behaviors that expose their human imperfections, and this may lead to different crises. In this context, the crucial pastoral task is to properly accompany these priests. The article indicates that the Sacrament of Reconciliation is of great importance among different ways of providing pastoral support. Priests who benefit from it through repentance and forgiveness find a greater unity with themselves, other people and God. In order for pastoral crisis to bear good fruit and bring greater personal maturity, brotherhood and ecclesial support are also needed. This study outlines the reasons of pastoral crises, gives a better theological understanding of a crisis situation in relation to priesthood, as well as suggesting ways of pastoral accompanying priests going through crises.
