Summary/Abstract: The present paper aims to bring in attention the importance of acad. Ştefan Pascu all historical works. But we are at the beginning of the 21st century and we are participants and witnesses to a great revolution in the cultural field – the cultural paradigms revolution, determined by the theoretical and practical results obtained by scientific research, the evolution of the contemporary transformations in the political, social, economic, cultural sphere and others. The history of humankind points out a truth – value principle: collective memory has an important role in the geopolitical and geocultural reconfiguration of the world. In this context, the article outlines a new view, a geocultural one. We must adapt ourselves to our own world. This article is an homage to acad. Ştefan Pascu, a promoter of the geocultural progress.
