Summary/Abstract: The paper refers to the political and military career of the five marshals, honor members of Romanian Academy: king Carol I, King Ferdinand I, king Carol II, Alexandru Averescu and Constantin Prezan. The military aspects of their lives are emphasized by their military ranks, military activities and the functions they had mastered. The political aspects of their activities are the same important as the military ones. Starting from these two ideas, in this paper I bring to front the both mentioned aspects of the activities of the five marshals. Of course I want to bring a tribute to the years since their passing in the eternity.
